Reforestation - the ideal retirement pension 'insurance'

Promoted by the government, the Costa Rican reforestation campaign is a good and  safe investment opportunity, worth to have in mind as an 'old age pension insurance'. The wood is world-wide very desired by its singular quality and predominantly used for the building of ships and also for parquet floor production. It grows only in the areas near the equator and is therefore very limited to cultivate. It takes only approximately 10 to 15 years until it's ready  for cutting. If one add the costs of the land purchase as well as the reforestation costs and compares this amount  to the profit which can be expected in 10 to 15 years, the following arithmetical example results.

INVESTMENT:  
1 hectare of land =    approx.      5.000,- USD
plus reforestation costs =    approx..     1.500,- USD  (in 10 -15 years)
complete per hectare

YIELD OF UTILIZATION:

      approx.      6.500,- USD

 

Todays market price per tree USD 50,- x       400 - 500 trees per hectare
Yield per hectare         approx.   20.000,- - 25.000,- USD
   

This results a profit per hectare of approximateley 15.000,- USD upward!

Forecasts estimate an increased demand for plantation wood and a duplication of the profit within the next 20 years.

We can offer some properties of different size, situated more remotely, often without power connection, but in the best way suitable for reforestation with teak wood. These properties are usually  larger, but low-priced. All have rivers and many sources. The possibility of electricity supply is given, but due to the location more expensiv. Mostly properties have even lookout points on the gulf of Nicoya or the Pacific. You will own a property, usable as vacation spot if desired - or possibly for sale with profit because the land price increase.
